Manoj Yadav

Manoj is the Founding Partner of NaturePivot LLP, a climate and sustainability research and advisory firm working at the intersection of climate, nature, finance, technology, and policy. He brings 17+ years of experience in climate finance, adaptation policy, and resilience programming across India, Europe, and Southeast Asia, having worked with GIZ, UNDP, EY, PwC, and Deloitte.
He previously served as Senior Advisor for Climate Change at GIZ, the German development agency, and earlier managed the microfinance portfolio at Ujjivan Bank, reaching over one million low-income women entrepreneurs. He has developed climate risk financing strategies in Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines, and serves on the United Nations ESCAP Task Force on Circular Economy.
Manoj is a doctoral researcher in climate finance at IIM Lucknow and holds an MBA in Rural Management from XIMB Bhubaneswar and a Master of Public Policy from the London School of Economics (LSE), where he studied as a Commonwealth Scholar.

Ankit Pandey
Ankit is a Specialist in Climate Change & Sustainability at NaturePivot, where he works across the firm’s climate and corporate sustainability portfolio.
He brings 5+ years of experience in natural resource management and community development, spanning forest landscape restoration, watershed programme evaluation, climate resilience assessments for smallholder farmers, and enterprise development with tribal communities across various states in India. He also brings expertise in monitoring and evaluation, including quantitative and qualitative analysis. His work cuts across field research, policy formulation, and programme design, with clients and partners including UNDP, GIZ, IUCN, The Nature Conservancy, NABARD, Deloitte, and Godrej.
Ankit holds a BS-MS in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali and a postgraduate degree in Forest Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM).
Shakuntal Prakash
Shakuntal is a Research Associate at NaturePivot, where she leads research on environmental governance, climate policy, and emerging trends in environmental regulation.
Her work includes policy mapping across national and state-level frameworks, tracking new legislative and regulatory developments, and translating them into structured analysis that informs the firm’s advisory work. Her research interests span environmental and climate law, natural resource governance, and the evolving landscape of sustainability policy in India, and she has authored research papers and policy notes on these themes.
Shakuntal holds an LL.M. in Energy, Natural Resources and ESG Law from the TERI School of Advanced Studies, an LL.B., and a bachelor’s degree with honours in Economics. Her LL.M. dissertation examined competitor collaboration for climate action, proposing a sustainability exemption under Section 3 of the Competition Act, 2002.
Harsh Yadav
Harsh is a Programme Associate at NaturePivot, where he supports the firm’s research and advisory practice and plays a central coordinating role across project teams to ensure quality and consistency in deliverables.
He specialises in synthesising large volumes of data and unstructured information into clear, decision-ready analysis for clients. He also spearheads the firm’s research and development efforts in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, building and applying tools that strengthen the efficiency and rigour of its research processes.
